How do i get rid of my msn virus?

i deleted msn and then re-downloaded it but it hasnt

try avg its free but depends what sort of virus. My mother in law got 1 through msn and its corrupted her HD yours may not but if the virus scanner doesnt get rid.I'd think of reformatting you pc
