Do you like hotmail or "Live" mail?

I hate it. It is free, so the price is right, and I suppose my expectations should be low, but I think it is one of the worst webmail sites I have used. Yahoo is my by far my favorite, with Gmail in a very distant second. I only use hotmail because it was my first webmail account and it's hard to ween people from emailing me there.

Hotmail frequently doesn't even let you access your mail (like right now!), it sometimes doesn't send emails (you click send and it goes to your inbox instead of giving you a receipt), and sometimes it will take a day for someone to receive your email, or for you to receive email. It also seems slow. And there's always this delay when you go to write a message: you start typing your message, and then the cursor switches to the address text box and you start typing your message in the "to" blank. Annoying!

i have to say it's must be your luck i have never had any of thoes problems with hotmail.

I don't know...it works well for me.

What I like with Hotmail compared to Yahoo! is that with Hotmail, I have no SPAM at all, no trashy mail, and if I do, it is sent directly to the junk folder.

Whereas, with Yahoo, I had like 100 emails a day...

I think Hotmail used to be better...is there a way to go back to how it was?

I like Yahoo mail personally. I do have a Live mail, but I use it only for Junk mail when I sign forms to join various web forums. I usually view the spam and junk mail in Live and delete them. That's about all.

I did I mention that Yahoo is my favorite free web based email?

i have been using hotmail for 8 years.. never happen with me
