When I try to log in my msn account or hotmail 80048820 Extended error code: 80048416?

Ok so when I try signing in my msn or hotmail I get the error code 80048820 Extended error code: 80048416 why is this happening. It worked fine yesturday, can anyone determine if their having the same problem and maybe its a server problem, nd if not what can i do????? :S

I'm having the same trouble. I was thinking the same thing that its just msn sever is down currently. I use it everyday and my password and everything is correct. I use it everyday normally wthout any problem. I think its defiantly the server is down. I'd say wait and try msn later and it will probs be back up and running then. If its still like this tomorrow then it might mean you password is wrong, make sure your password is correct, try forgot password. and do the troubleshoot on msn and if theres any problems repair it.

Might be a server problem cause I can't sign in right now either.
I thought it was because I was trying to delete a virus, but i guess the system is just down.

Give it an hour. Probably will be less before it comes back on.

hi yh my msn was out from 1 pm this afternoon. i put ma pc off then went bak on but it wont let me logg in and u cant fix it i tried everything. If u really need to go like me lol then go on MSN web messenger for the time being........i hope this helps!!!:):):):):):):):):)
