MSN virus canceling my conversations..HELP?

This started off i think by an email phisher, I'm not sure but my Norton anti-virus detected a virus and got rid of it. But, when i was on MSN, i was chatting to a friend when i heard a sound from my laptop then my conversation would close and i couldn't re-open a conversation with my friend unless i signed out and signed back in again. But if i don't do this, at the top of the contact list there is a box so you can type any name in and it is quicker to find contacts that way. Anyway, something starts typing in there, it isn't me and this something constantly types

i do not wish to go onto that website in case it affects my laptop even more.

Any suggestions to what this is and how to remove it, also my Avast, Norton and windows defender do not pick anything up.

in the "Search for questions" box and click the Search button, you will see some good info: for one thing, a recent question that has a long answer, and the original questioner chose a best answer and said "Used kaspersky and it cleaned up everything."
