MSN freezing!?

my msn keeps freezing when i go to sign in, it takes ages for my email address and password to come up. ive tried all the codes to put in, ive serached literally hundreds of threads on the internet for some help but its getting me no-where fast. ive tried un-installing then re-stalling msn but its not working!! can anyone suggest anything? and please dont give me the codes to put in ive tried them. i have the latest version of msn too. please help!!

this has been an on-going problem for a good few months now. i have re-installed msn that many times its stupid! there must be a way on how to get around this!

you have to use the MSN version according to your operating system and hardware
. you cannot use windows live messenger with a software previous to XP

try using another version

did you try to repair?
start
control panel
add and remove programmes
MSN
'change'
when the wizard comes up select 'repair'
wait until the wizard finishes

then sign in

when using a P2P (emule, ares etc) or another programme that takes lot of bandwidth, those can conflict with MSN so the programme cannot connect or takes ages on it .. in this case slow down the programme speed and restart the router

try taking it off and installing it again. its like that at times. it just doesnt sign in. its not only me, its my mates too so dont worry. it has its days but if it happenes everytime then there migth be virus on comp caught frm internet and stuff.
