Is there any way to check message history on MSN..?

.. even if you don't save it on your computer? is there anyway to find it on the computer anywhere???
thanks!

don't think ma'dear. but are you talkin email, or messenger? cuz in messenger you can check an option somewhere in one of the file/properties/options/tools...whatever... menues to have the program save an archive of conversations for each contact somewhere on your computer.

You picked that as best asnwer?!? How stupid is that! I gave you a full answer as to what to do and so did other people. This person doesn't even make sense. Geez! Report It

I think the only way is to save it...

If you dont save it you can't find out.

Nope.

yeah - go to your 'my documents', then go to 'my received files' then click on your msn name!

oh and you have to click on history after u click on your name

YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFEReNCE

You must ensure the actual MSN settings do not allow for saving messages to the computer. You'll find the open in 'logs' in the preferences/options.

If it is unchecked, than no one can view it.

when u signed in on msn the first time it asked u if u wanted to allow the computer to save the message history. if u clicked on no then there isnt a message history on the computer. if u clicked on yes then it is probably in "my received files." another way of messages being saved on the pc is if u have msn plus. it usually saves everything on the pc. check my documents if u have msn plus. it should say "chat logs" somewhere.

if you download something called msn plus

(here's the link)

http://www.msgpluslive.net/

there is a feature which records your conversations
and is all sent to a folder in the my documents part of your hard drive called chat logs

here you can view the conversations you had with specific people or on specific dates

yes!!!!but i dont remember

On my computer any chats from MSN automatically goes into my Received Files Folder without me having to save them. Click on that and you should see a list of chats from MSN. If you wanna save chats on MSN you can go to Preferences and change your settings so you can save your chats. When it reaches the limit, it'll ask if you wanna delete old chats or save them to your computer on that folder I mentioned. I hope I helped and answered your question. Good Luck!
