How do I get my mom to stop reading my msn convos and emails?

My mom keeps reading my msn convos and emails. When confronted she just says it's "her job". It's not so much that I'm annoyed by it that my friends are. They feel like they can't tell me anything. And I was talking to my step sis and she told her dad EVERYTHING we said!! It was supposed to be private. We were making fun of him because we both hate him and we both told each other things we wern't supposed to. Like I think that my step bro isn't really my step bro. And now my mom and him know everything! Oh and my grandparents allways need to know what I'm doing online. I'm talking on msn. With who? Bob. About what? I'm writing a love letter to fred! OMG IT IS SO ANNOYING! They need to know everthing in my life! how do I make it stop?

Use the librarys' computers. As long as you live in your parents home it is thier job to keep you safe and if that means invading your privacy to do so than so be it. Do approach her kindly and softly as a friend and ask her if you can talk to her as friends. sit down and tell her gently that she can trust you and that you understand she is trying to keep you safe. Ask her for advice how to keep yourself safe and if thier is something you can do to help her feel comfortable enough not to read your stuff. Don't raise your voice or argue-she will automatically think you too childish to deal with as a friend and wont respect you. Respect is something you earn, not take by angry force. Take a good look at yourself and never mind what you think she is doing wrong-are you causing her reason to distrust you such as saying bad things about your family. Unless you need help from someone concerning your family, you should keep thier skeletons as quiet as you want them to keep yours quiet. It is both mean and causes you problems to talk about others badly-like causing you to have to be watched on the puter. Even if your mom is a jerk-you are the child and should live by her standards the best you can. However, you deserve to be respected also. If none of this works, only use the puter at your local library.

Well, if you are a kid you really can't avoid this kind of thing. But if you want to be sneaky, you could just make it so that your computer doesn't record conversations in the first place. That way NOBODY could see anything at all.

get your own apt. if u are not old enough to do that then u have to stay home and watch what u say.

when u install Messenger Plus to ur MSN, sign in then on the box where u see ur contacts, click on Plus! then Preferences.... a box will open.
Then from the top of the box, click on CONVERSATIONS... then from the left side click on LOGS ENCRYPTION... then check the first square that says (protect my chat logs with a password) and then type the password in the box below then click apply...

after all these, no1 can open ur conversations without that password!!
