Hotmail email problem can you help?

i keep getting the message 'sorry, but you have tried signing in with the wrong details too many times' when i havent even tried to sign in at all let alone with the wrong details - does this mean someone is trying to get into my account? how can i contact hotmail to get this checked out? any ideas gratefully rec'd - thanking you

if it finds some files and won`t delete them (due to commercial reasons that might happen) copy&paste the report on the notepad, search the files and delete them. don't forget to unable your antivirus temporally before online scanning

View and edit your personal information
then in the account settings page

Yes someone is trying to log into your hotmail, best thing to do is create yourself another hotmail account. You can contact hotmail through the link on MSN

You might have your CAPS on, passwords and addresses are case-sensitive.

It means that someone is trying to hijack your account.

Report it to Hotmail.

Create yourself a new email address and abandon the old one.

Actually if we open hotmail page, and after some time try to signing, we face this problem..

Reason is session expiration in 5 minutes.

this is just a glitch - and nothing whatsoever to do with anyone trying to get into your account. who knows, it might be something to do with your own computer and maybe firewalls or similar - i was in the netherlands last week and the same thing happened to me more than a dozen times when trying to sign in on on my host's laptop. when i transferred to the pc i got on straight away, first time of trying! if it had anything to do with the actual account, the problem would still have been there on the other computer...

i am editing this to say that it DOES NOT necessarily or even probably mean that someone else is trying to access your account. the problem could indeed be in something like the caps lock - or even in your own computer - but as i said above, this is so easy to prove - if you can log on from another computer then you have no real security problem. and do not need to listen to people who are scaremongering.
