I just got MSN and need some help.?

Plz could someone give me some hints and tips to MSN messenger as I have never used it before. Thx

Add people and talk...there are some cool add ons if you google msn addons you will get some cool stuff...i think theres messenger plus which is fun. and if your low on friends MSN made 3 friends you can add that are computers that talk back to you

add a email when the icon is green double click on it type hi press enter and you pick it up from there

Find other people with MSN and go to File > Add contact . When the icon is gray it means the person is offline. When the icon is green the person is online, so double click on their name and type a sentence, and press enter. Its really easy :D

Well here are the basics your display name. When you login you should see a small box next to it there should be an arrow. Click it and click options there you just type what you want your friends to see. Also you should also be able to change your display picture in the same options place. To choose save a picture then click browse and look for your picture. When found everyone would be able to see that picture. Also here are some shortcuts that are common. DN means display name. DP which is very commonly used means display picture. Also people will use some emotions these can be acessed when chatting. Have fun in MSN!

Msn is closing down really soon, so there is no point in having it, also it will give you viruses and slow your computer down. Skype is better as you can search for people all over the world and see their profiles but on MSN you can only add people you know or have their email address's.

Keep ad ing contacts "Your Friends" messenger lets you kno when they are online because the icons representing your friend turn from red to green when a friend is online...allso a pop up message pops uo from your tool tray telling you so and so has just signed in.
Messenger is cool because you can go webcam to webcam with your friends and both of you can talk to and see each outher or you can go the regular im and type back and forth.
You can even send your friends a nudge "thy will hear a funney sound and their im screen willl shake around.
