You can check MSN status by adding any person on your MSN messenger. It will show online status of that person.

You can also use some third party tools.

To see if others blocked you or not? ..

Scroll down, type in your details, and it'll show you a list of all your contacts, and it'll have a red icon next to it. If your blocked, if not then it's a green icon.
