use activescan for online scanning ..
if it finds some files and won`t delete them (due to commercial reasons that might happen) copy&paste the report on the notepad, search the files and delete them. don't forget to unable your antivirus temporally before online scanning

This is not a complete question, for there are numerous MSN Viruses.

It doesn't really matter. Just delete it.

As already said, there are numerous viruses on MSN. Make sure you always look at exactly what someone is linking or sending you... in fact, always ask to make sure!

msn virus means when you send a link to your contact it repeats itself by sending to all your contacts at the same time, to avoid it add this false address to block viruses 000000@hotmail.com or yahoo whatever, they go into your delete or drafts folder..just delete them

not sure on this,i had some probs with something that was strange though.my only suggestion is to uninstall msn and scan for virus's then reinstall.if this dont work then make a new addy and invite your friends to that one.failing that,you need to restore your pc using the restore discs or use the windows xp one that came with your pc.in any event,never accept files or file sharing from some one that you dont know or you have just added.best of luck,i sorted it and i am a novice so i know you can sort it too.

It's hard to say, there are many variants, some seem to be trojans that allow attackers in, many seem to just be there to annoy the flip out of you and others turn your computer into a node/server for online P2P programs and possibly email spam bots.

But I guess the point is it needs to be removed.
A) for your privacy/protection
B) for the sanity of your contacts
