How does MSN Messenger figure out which contact can delete first?

I hear people saying that you can't delete someone until they delete you first. How does that work? How does MSN figure out who has the first move to delete?

Maybe one of the two people has to temporarily block first.

You can delete ppl from your list, they don't have to delete you first, as far as I know. Im not sure why that person said that or where he/she got it from, but you can delete ppl without having to do that :D

Just right-click their name and "Delete Contact".

so just compare and then go to 'bloqued list'
right click on a contact's name and 'remove' option will be available
