I cant get msn to work on vista!!!?

okay so i have vista.. and i got this computer from my mom it was brand new she had it about a month once we got it here we took everything off the computer to start overnew.. and since then trying to install msn and it does not work!!! so ive been using msn on facebook and its really irritating.

in the beginning in worked on web messenger but it just stopped letting me through.. atleast if i had that i would be fine..

i was able to download msn but every time it went to sign in it would close and say there was an error with the program

now i remember the last time i tried to download msn..it said that i need to download another program for msn to be compatible with vista..

Im hating vista!! it blocks so much stuff!!

so if ANYONE can help me to figure out how to get msn on my computer and so that it actually works i would be veryyy very greatful lol.

did you download MSN, or Windows Live?? Windows Live is the newest version of MSN, and regular MSN is just too old to be able to go with Vista. I'm using a Vista computer myself.

is it just sayin sighing in for ages? could be a firewall blocking msn from contacting its server..depending on what program you use to protect ur computer u shud look for firewall and then see what programs are allowed and blocked.

I can't get it work either, just goes round in a loop and them hangs!

my mum had the same problem she just keeped trying but if u really need to talk to ppl on ur msn go to www.imo.im it is a very simpole online thing
