How to make people talk to me on msn?

Ok, i know what you're thinking, im not a looser
its because maybe i stay a lot conected so they think im not there (sometimes im really not there) but what can i make to talk to me,
dont answer me: " talk to them". please

Every now and again, you can change your status to offline then to online again, so they get the notification that you've come online.

Change your name or something.
And talk to them if you expect people to talk to you first, they won't.
