I received today an email tittled Congratulations (Your email has won 85,000.00 GBP) From Yahoo!/MSN Awards.?

This email is asking me my information.
Is this email coming from Yahoo ?

That's one of the oldest scams in the book. Delete it, and no it's not coming from Yahoo.

It's a well known scam don't reply to it or give them your details, just delete it

Don't give up your personal information to any such pranks. These are just hoaxes and is a form of phishing. Yahoo! is not going to give you even a penny for free!

replying to this mail will eventually lead up to them asking you for a "fee" of sorts in order to send you ""your money""........ which will never come! Never give out personal info in ANY email that requests it.

Scam/fishing... they will ask you to send money for the courier cos they are not allowed to use your money etc... Heard of all these and also the many people who fall for it. Emails like these go to millions of people and all they need is 1 in a hundred to send some money. Loads of people do send money, just dont be one of them.

Don't believe it; it is a scam. I heard that it will requires you to fill in all your bank details and personal information. Once you gave them the info, they seem to be able to access the monies in your bank account.

This is only one of the gimmick used to get your personal information and bank information.

There is another scam email that ask for help. The person normally claimed to inherit huge inheritance because his/her dad died of accident/assasination...etc and request for your help to claim the monies on their behalf.

Dangerous. Best action is : DELETE this kind of emails.

Another scam. Delete and forget.
