Msn Virus/Problem?

hi

last night someone sent me a LINK to a picture (well it was supposed to be a picture) but it had my msn address at the end of a link, i downloaded it and double clicked, next thing my pc froze. and now when im on msn anymore than 30 mins my msn convo windows go invisible and stuff

HELP PLZ?

my friend kept getting MSN viruses. She tried virus software etc but it didn't do any good. So she got rid of MSN completly and then started all over again. This worked. She's now very wary of what she opens. If it not really necessary she wont open it.

Run a full virus check and a adware check

restart your pc and keep hitting the F8 button until it goes into safe mode..choose start in safe mode and use your anti-virus to run a scan.if it finds something great..deal with it accordingly and restart your pc and do another scan and see if its all ok

p.s also email me and ile let u know hw to set your msn to scan for viruses that are maybe sent thru messenger!

Yes people sent me that and you should have virus protection and clean ur cmpter...Never accept those and the people tat are sending it don't mean to send it. They automatically sends them, even if they are offline. Be careful.

never accept these silly files that people send you such as

''i think i look fat in this, can you have a look please?''

Then a picture file.

All that stuff, never bother with them!

Run a spyware, and virus scan!

I recommend spybot search and destroy, && Uninstall your messenger first, Then download it after you've removed any spyware or adware from your system
