How do I get rid of msn messanger worm?

I have this worm that I got from a link one of my friends. I was an idiot and put my email in the link to see who blocked me and now I have the virus. I thought i got rid of it by reinstalling it but soon enough, my friends tell me that I still send them links to them. So, here I am.

Bottom line: How do I get rid of this msn worm?

also, I'm using vista and I forgot how to turn system restore off. ;_:

is it one of them "this looks just like you :)" things?

cause i had that yesterday.. this is how i fixed it

1. delete msn
2. re-download it
3. turn off computer
4. boot back up in safe mode (press F8 a bunch of times when its starting up)
5. sign on to msn if it will let you (mine didn't, i skipped steps 6-8 but this is how i was told to fix it, but mine worked without 6-8)
6. wait to get another message
7. delete friend u got it from
8. re-add friend
9. turn off computer
10. boot back up in normal mode
11. open msn.

hi
go to

use activescan for online scanning ..
if it finds some files and won`t delete them (due to commercial reasons that might happen) copy&paste the report on the notepad, search the files and delete them. don't forget to unable your antivirus temporally before online scanning
in case activescan won鈥檛 work, use this one its really good too
