Removal of MSN Virus?

i clicked a link from MSN Live Messenger and whenever i'm not near the computer it signs me out and sends it out to all my contacts. I'm using Windows Vista, tried scanning for it using AVG, Norton, Trend Micro and others but no identifying it. I already had to wipe one hard drive but i would like to leave that as my last resort. I even un-installed and re-installed MSN Live but it keeps repeating itself now i'm using the generic windows messenger. Any PROVEN ways to get rid of it or even to format windows vista so that it doesn't happen again..
