What's wrong with Hotmail?

I can't open Hotmail. I can sign in with msn messenger but once I clik the email icon a blank window pops up. I've already written to Microsoft technical support to no avail.
I can't even access my hotmail account thru msn. I have already closed down the firewall and the antivirus but that doesn't seem to be the problem. Any ideas how to solve this issue. This started yesterday morning
