About web cam on msn?

i have windows messenger live and i also have a web cam and i normaly have my cam up to people (as in.. so they can see me)
but for a week now when i plug my web cam in like i normaly do, it isnt showing up and when i clik on start or stop a video call/ wen cam, it comes up and sais i dont have one when i do.
i have done everything the same as i normally so so it should work and show up but it doesnt.
and its nothing to do wiv me web cam because it works fine onn my sisters computer and it worked the other day on my laptop. arrhggg im confused. can anyone help. id b v. grateful, thank you xxx

Go to options then to webcam settings it should tell you there i have live too and mine plays up to also clicking the lil cam symbol may help =]

When this happened to me I had to plug my webcam into a different USB port.

I had the same problem. It's broken, sorry to say. Get a new one.
