MSN error?

erm.. right, I have MSN live messenger and recently it won't let me sign in. When I attempt to sign in it says "your connection with the .net messenger live service has been lost.. reconnecting in 5..4..3..2..1" it then goes back to the orginal sign in animation but repeats "your connection with the .net messenger live service has been lost.. reconnecting in 5..4..3..2..1" It used to do this occasionally but has now begun doing it every single time I try to sign in. has anyone had this problem before? If so how did you fix it?

just check if you have some kind of virus, (scan your pc) if you are running a p2p (emule, ares) ,these use a lo of bandwidth when runnign full speed, .. (in this case, slow down the p2p and restart the router) ..
check if you installed a skin, scipt, plugin, animated display or sth. recently .. that might be the reason ..
check if the versions MSN is according to your operating system and hardware

you can also do this
close MSN
go here
start
control panel
add and remove programmes
MSN
'change'
qhen the wizard appears select 'repair'
wait til the wizard finishes
then sign in again
