How do you upgrade your Hotmail account to PAYING account?

I need the ability to check pop accounts but for the life of me cant find where you go to upgrade/pay!!

I tried the same thing, and looked everywhere; since they have switched to "The New Hotmail", it looks like there is no way to upgrade.

I read on one of Microsoft's blogs (Microsoft owns Hotmail) that the service is not dead, and will be offered in the future. There was no mention of date, through.

PS: If your Hotmail account was created before 2006, you should be able to check your emails from Outlook Express or Windows Live Mail without the need to upgrade to Hotmail Plus.

It seems absurd that a company would refuse business, but I think it has to do with Microsoft releasing its adCenter upgrade ("Gatineau"); until it is out, they are freezing all kinds of services. Gatineau should be out of beta within a few months, and I think we'll be able to have Hotmail Plus back at that point.

you can't upgrade Hotmail without paying for it.
