Hotmail and MSN messenger! Help!?

I had problems with MSN messenger and it wouldnt let me sign in so i uninstalled it and tried to reinstall but it wont! Also i cant access the hotmail homepage and on the other computer in the house it will access the homepage but wont sign in!

First open a run window by clicking start, then run. Now, type the following command and press enter:

Initpki.dll
Rsaenh.dll
Mssip32.dll
Cryptdlg.dll

If you use Windows XP you should open another run window after running the previous commands then type the following command:

regsvr32 Dssenh.dll
Gpkcsp.dll
Slbcsp.dll
Sccbase.dll

Removing Internet Explorer Proxy Settings:

飩?Start Internet Explorer.
飩?On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
飩?On the Connections tab, click LAN Settings.
飩?Clear the Automatically detect settings check box.
飩?Click OK, and then click OK again.

Removing Messenger proxy settings:

飩?Start Messenger.
飩?On the Tools menu, click Options.
飩?Under Connection, click Advanced Settings.
飩?Delete the entries under SOCKS.
飩?Click OK, and then click OK again.

when nothing works try system restore

What kind of error are you getting? If it's a 404 error, try using a different browser. Also, if you have a slow connection, but lots of MSN add-ons, or tons of in-box emails, it could be timing out before it finishes.

click forgot my password and try resetting the password. This should work.

well for one thing msn messenger has been upgraded and is now called windows live messenger. I would try to find that and install it before anything else. i like it better
