How do you totally block and remove an msn contact. I tried clicking on the block thing but they were still?

able to send emails to my hotmail address..I'm starting to regret intalling it now I only used to use it for family now random people are inviting me and I don't know how to stop them.

hello you ok.
dont worry this little problem can be sorted out its not that bad my friend.
right when you block someone you need to make sure that you tick both boxes after blocking them.
1 remove from hotmail contacts
2 also block this contact too.
3 you need to go into your hotmail email page and look through all your email contacts then the people you blocked and deleted, delete them from your contacts list in there.
4 if you dont delete them then any emails they send will get through to you, if they try emailing you and are deleted on both like i said then there emails should go into the spam or junk folder.
5 thats how you get round it.
6 also if you go in the options and privacy on your msn sign in program you will see the block and allow list.
dont worry about the blocked people there they wont be able to talk to you again unless you re add them at a later date.

Just edit your info and dont allow msm contact........

You right click on their name when you sign in. Then you press delete, and something should pop up that says "also block this contact?"
Press yes, so they can't talk to you and they won't appear on your contact list. To make them not able to send messages to you, you go to your hotmail... and go to the tab on the left side that says contacts. You click on it and then you select the contact, and press delete at the top. I hope this information was useful!!!
