How to get rid of this MSN virus?

One of my friends sent me a message talking about opening up a picture of myself to use on their myspace, followed by a ZIP file. I didn't think much of it and took it from them, opened it. After that everyone has been getting a similar message stating that I was showing them some type of picture (dream car, myspace picture) and that they were followed by a ZIP file.

I have ran my virus protection software
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling MSN

What's next, what else can I do?

use activescan for online scanning ..
if it finds some files and won`t delete them (due to commercial reasons that might happen) copy&paste the report on the notepad, search the files and delete them. don't forget to unable your antivirus temporally before online scanning

May depend a lot on what virus it is... maybe old posts can provide some information. I have found solutions to other viruses before on this site.

Control+alt+delete den go to processes and end the process with the same name as the virus.
