How can I know if someone is online but showing that he is offline on msn messenger ?

you can try this trick (only windows live msn)
open a chatwindow to the person you think is online using offline status
say hello and send the message
when you receive the message' x is offline he will receive your message the next time he signs in' , the contact is really offline, if there's no message so he is online with offline status

when you know he's got webcam just look if the webcam icon is shown, if the contact is offline and you can see that cam icon he is online using offline status

you have to know that if the contact activates the option
'only people on my Allow List can see my status and send me messages'
(tools/options/privacy)
you cannot see his status on any web

If they are offline you cant do anything about it that have there thing set to that you will just have to wait tell they get back on!

If that person is appear offline, I dont think that there is a way for you to know that the person is online. When that person appears offline though, he/she can still talk to you so I guess thats when you will know =]

there are some sites that let u see ppl who are offline but im not sure if they work in 100%
go to google n try to find it

if u think a person might be hiding send him/her a message :D sometimes ppl panic n answer :D

or just leave the ppl alone lol if they hide they wanna hide ;) maybe they are busy or dont feel like talkin
