Why do ppl often leave their msn on if they are away from the computer?

If so, do you wish you could talk to the other person but you are too 'busy' with other things?

I mean 'away' in the sense that you really are away and you left it on. Sometimes you find that the computer has dc's you and you wish to see the msg's after you remember that you have left the msn on.

i don't really like when people leave there msn on and you try talking to them but they never talk back..because there not really there! man i get angry! haha

well, leaving my msn messenger online saves my time from logging in again... and anytime you message anyone you want.. connection interruption doesnt matter to me.. coz my message history archiving is on.. anytime i can visit it again..

Your question doesn't make much sense! You don't talk to people with MSN, you send them MESSAGES. If they leave MSN logged in, then they can receive messages. Logging out is a pain, and mostly happens when you turn off your machine. I use Pidgin messenger, so when I log into my desktop, I am also able to get messages from MSN, Yahoo, AIM, Jabber.

If I wish to 'talk' to someone, then I'll use the telephone. If I am busy, then I can use a smalltalk set and talk to people while I walk around and do things.

Having to log on and off is a real pain. And when your wife/mom is calling saying if you don't give me a foot massage right now we're having a divorce/ if you don't do you homework right now I'm going to smash that computer, you don't really have the time to go sign off.
