Virus Problem on MSN? |
Hey guys, I did delete and reboot my PC, I deleted the file ages ago when I first got it :( its some person who hacks into PC go to your address bar and type in www.antvirus.com...scroll down and click on house call...you can't download it but it will scan and fix your problem and its free...good luck... hi Right... i got this. its something to do with the registry. which takes ages to explain. i deleted something in the registry which hides in a folder. delete that then find the folder in received files. delete that. then in your temp Internet files look for a zip folder. delete that. you made need to repeat this as i did about 7 times and i ain't heard from it since. i have about 3 contacts on msn that now has it but i have a automatic virus scanner that scans it before i accept it kind of thing well anyway i hope this helps you search it in google for more detail. There is a virus being spread by MSN Messenger. You are asked to accept a picture from the person who you are talking to. If you do then a file called PICT1324(2)(1)(1)(2)(1)(1)(1).exe will be transferred to your computer and begin the process of asking others that you chat to to accept pictures as well. was this like in a compressed file, the same thing happened on my friends msn, it seemed weird when i saw it but i didnt open it as i thougt if he was going to send me something like a picture it would be ok to transfer as a picture, if you see anything sent to you in a compressed file or a website your friend "might" sends you straite away after he logs in or when you log in dont open it |
