I can't get MSN messenger to download. Can someone help me?

I got it to get to the install screen. but that's it.
i just got this computer.. and i would really like it.

I had this problem too.
Try downloading a direct .exe for an older version of MSN live. Then it should tell u if you have a newer version installed or not. That just seemed to trigger my system registering it HAD downloaded.

Do a System Restore ( Start>All programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore) and set the date 1-2 days earlier. Then, try downloading it again.
