Installing Windows live messenger 8.0, 8.1, 8.1 BETA, 8.5 & 8.5 BETA problem?

When i try to install any of those versions of windows live messenger i get an error saying "Service 'Messenger Sharing Folders USN Journal Reader service' (usnjsvc) could not be installed. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to install system services."

I have administrator privleges and all but it isn't working. I have windows live messenger 9.0 beta and now whenever i try to open it up i get the same message, if anybody knows how i can solve this problem please let me know how.

Also if you think there is another program that is about the same as msn (in other words can login with your hotmail id) could you please list some, this does not include trillian.. because it's ugly.

I have the same problem.... :(( I've wlm 9.0 and I installed kewee toolbar,(I didn't want this I made a mistake..)and everytime I tried to open msn, it crashed!! so I decided to uninstall the toolbar, 'cause I thought that make my msn to crash.. nothing changed.. now I can't even open it.. >_< I uninstalled msn, try to install it again, but this problem appears..both with the 9.0 and 8.5.. do you think I have to restore a previous system point? -.-' it's my last chance..

try using web messenger until you get a fix.
