Talking between instant messaging networks?

I want to talk to some people who have MSN messenger, but I have AIM messenger...is this possible? I heard something about meebo but I'm not sure what I am supposed to do. If I can't talk AIM to MSN, how can I get a MSN screenname for free and not have to download it?

I use meebo - works great for me..

go to www.meebo.com

create a meebo account - then add the other accounts/networks you want to talk with. - the other accounts you will to have accounts setup of course.

go to www.msn.com and go to messenger, its a free download

Use Trillian, works for everything.

Just go to http://www.meebo.com If you don't have a screen name for any of the services, click on sign up. You don't have to download anything.

You can get the program Trillian, but you would require two accounts, an AIM and an MSN account, so you could just download MSN Messanger, or get Trillian.

No matter what you do, you still need an MSN or Yahoo account to IM an MSN account.
