How Can I Make It So That It Shows My Music In My Personal Message?

Yes Hi. I want to make iTunes show up in my personal message bar so that way everyone can see what I am listening to. On my other computer I got it to work but I forgot how to do it. Im working with Vista also. Someone plz help me.

You need to use Windows Media Player to do this. Here's how:

In MSN Messenger - In the menu, select Tools, then Options. (If the menu is not there, there is a "Show Menu" button between your name and contacts.) Under the "Personal" Tab, check the box labeled "Show Song Information from Windows Media Player as a personal message" and then click "ok".

After you do this, people will see the current song that you are listening to in Windows Media Player by your name.

You don't need to use windows media player, heaps of people use itunes, and I use itunes. You just need to make sure you don't have windows media player open when you're doing it. Next to your personal message, there's an arrow that you click and it drops down a list - click Show what i'm listening to. If that doesn't make it show up, there must be a setting somewhere in your msn that will fix it, i'm not sure where. But itunes should do it automatically once you've got the box ticked on msn :]

Go onto windows media player, then right click Now Playing, click Plug In's, then click other and then click windows live messenger music plugin! thas how i did it!

another way is to right click ur personal message, and then you select show what i'm listening to!

both ways work!
