My msn won't let me send instant messages?

My msn windows live messenger won't let me send instant messages to people...i can see what they type but when i try to type it just said the message could not be sent to all users...its really starting to piss me off...is there anyway to fix this?

have you tried ununstalling msn and reinstalling it? sometimes that helps. and sometimes it could be just a bug. try logging out and logging back in.
if its not that try scanning for a virus or worm or something.

it blocks viruses and sends them into the delete or drafts folder, simply delete them

Lol there is no way that the address the above poster said to add will do that. That's why there is an antivirus thing in MSN. sounds like a connection problem or msn is being an bish. You can try to reinstall it. Have you tried restarting comp? It should go away though.

I have had this happen to me before...it is a pain.

First, use an Anti-spyware program to scan for infections on your system. This will rule out spyware that could have ultered the registry-settings of your MSN.

Next, use an Anti-virus software to scan for viruses. It is unlikely, but a virus might be effecting your MSN.

after you have completed the above two steps, re-download your current version of msn, and use the installer to repair, rather than re-install messenger. This will reset the application to default, undoing any changes made to its files/replacing corrupt files. The reason for this is because malware writters know that more inexperienced users will try to just re-install it, so they write code to exploit that.

if all else fails, and it is STILL doing it, then try re-installing it. And as the above can be a lengthy proccess, consider using windows messenger to talk to your friends until you have fixed it....its stupid and you cant see dps, but it is better than nothing! :)

I had that problem its so annoying.
to fix it go to
Tools >Options > And then click onto the tab that says Messages > And untick the checked box where it says "Show the handwrite tab in conversation windows"
Press Apply.

+ then log out of msn and then log back in, that should work. it worked for me.
