I just got a used laptop and i want to know where the battery is and if you have to charge it seperately?

I have a gateway laptop and it is dying frequently when i barely use it and charge it for days.

BATTERS TEND TO DIE QUICK ON LAPTOPS TRY DIMING YOUR SCREEN BRIGHTNESS A BIT HOLD FN AND THERE SHOULD BE A KEY WITH A SUN AND AN ARROW POINTING DOWN THIS WILL HELP IT LAST A BIT LONGER IF IT IS DYING IN LESS THAN 1 HOUR I SUGGEST YOU GET A NEW BATTERY

If you dont know where the battery i strongly suggest you finish with computers

The battery cells are probably dying, the best thing to do would be to replace the battery with a new one.

You charge it to long thats y its dieing quickly . The battery is on the bottom on the la top
