How can i find videos that i have already downloaded on my laptop?

i often download video clips from various sites. are they stored on my laptop and if so how do i find them again???

Most of those videos that you see are streaming videos, that are just displayed on your local site, but not saved. There are some programs out there that will enable you to capture these videos, but unless the originator intended to let you make your own copies, I would consider it unethical. A better thing is to keep a list of all the URL;sof the videos that you want, so you can revisit them.

search for the name of the vid using start, search.

When you download google desktop, it will locate and pull up the files for you.

if you actually download them it will save them all the the default download location(usually either the desktop or my docs>my vids) if you have just watched them in your browser then assuming the cache is large enough they will be in there, under a random name(a string of numbers and letters) just filter te search by file size and type.
