If my laptop has a s-video port? |
if i hook my ps3 up to it will i be able to record, or would i have to get a tv tuner to that, also would i be able to record stuff im watching on tv or would i also need a tv tuner for that? You need a video input or a tuner to record. Typically it has s-video only as output and video output only. If your laptop has an S-video port the only way you'll be able to get video off of anything using it is by having the proper software. I've always tried connecting things like a VCR to my computer through the S-Video connection but I never had (nor do I even know about) the proper programs needed to use the port. if you're thinking of buying a laptop you should check out this site first. they give you a sony vaio laptop for FREE! all you need to do is complete a few quick tasks for them. |
