Is it true that the battery of the laptops is damaged when you always leave the ac power conected? Not anymore. yeah overcharging is bad To answer your question, it depends yes, overcharging will probably decrease the full life of your battery, but it won't completely destroy it, you'll probably lose a good 20-40 minutes depending on your battery. I don't have any idea about that. What i know when you plug on the power plug your laptop performance will be much better. So for sure i'm plug on the power. But still there's no problem to the battery I have had the power cord plugged into my Dell Inspiron 9300 for over 3 years now with the battery in and no problems. |
