What's the safest way to get dust and crumbs out of my laptop keyboard?

I tried that canned air stuff, but it dripped some liquid stuff on my keyboard and now I'm afraid to use it again.Also, what should I be cleaning my screen with?

You should clean the screen with a static free moist cloth which can be purchased at wall-mart in the laptop accessories. The liquid dripped onto the keyboard will evaporate almost instantly it want hurt the key board or the notebook. The only other way to get the crumbs out would be to take the keyboard itself out and shake loose the crumbs.Its a very easy process. Take out the battery, remove the three screws under neath the battery, the screws right above those 2 of them which are black and hard to see, remove the panel below the monitor carefully, one more screw behind the center panel on bottom sunk down in a plastic guide hole,lift out keyboard and unplug it. NOT TO HARD BUT REQUIRES FINESSE !

They sell canned air in the computer areas to spray the key board out so dust ,etc comes out with out damagen any computer also can be used on the towers to clean out dust.
