Question about space (gigs) in my Macbook?

I have a new Macbook, which has 160gigs of space. If i wanted to add more space on to it, what do i do? Do i just buy the correct space and ADD it to mine? Or do i need to take mine out and include a whole new one? I'm looking in to the new 250gigs that is now available. Also, do i need to unscrew anything under my computer? Should i even be doing this? i don't want anything connected to my computer, i still want it to be durable with everything i need, no wired, nothing.

you have to buy a new laptop hard drive, don't use ebay, use:

if you have any questions, contact apples customer support and tell them the model # of the laptop and ask them about the hard drive, ask them the connector type, thats what you need to know, and then find the right matching one on newegg, don't buy directly form apple unless you want to get ripped, cheap *** apple....
ps- if apple charges for calling them for support like that, don't do it, ask another question on here with the model number of the laptop and people can help you out more, always give as much info when asking a question like this, so that the people answering can help you more and make sure everything is doe correctly and make sure you don't get ripped off by apple...

If you want an extra 250 gig, then you need to buy a 250 gig HDD and plug it into your computer. They will show up as two separate drives on your computer.

I would recommend purchasing an external hard drive instead. You can purchase an external hard drive, or assemble one yourself by purchasing a hard drive and external enclosure seperately (this is usually cheaper, and is as simple as connecting a few cables and screws). The external hard drive is then plugged into your computer via USB cable, and shows up as a seperate hard drive.

If you do choose to purchase an internal hard drive and external enclosure and set up the hard drive yourself, be sure you get two devices with the same interface (IDE or SATA), and ensure that your external enclosure is the correct size for the drive.
