Question about space (gigs) in my Macbook? |
I have a new Macbook, which has 160gigs of space. If i wanted to add more space on to it, what do i do? Do i just buy the correct space and ADD it to mine? Or do i need to take mine out and include a whole new one? I'm looking in to the new 250gigs that is now available. Also, do i need to unscrew anything under my computer? Should i even be doing this? Please look at this ebay add and let me know if this is what i should be looking at...http://cgi.ebay.com/250GB-Hard-Drive-for... thanks! i don't want anything connected to my computer, i still want it to be durable with everything i need, no wired, nothing. you have to buy a new laptop hard drive, don't use ebay, use: If you want an extra 250 gig, then you need to buy a 250 gig HDD and plug it into your computer. They will show up as two separate drives on your computer. I would recommend purchasing an external hard drive instead. You can purchase an external hard drive, or assemble one yourself by purchasing a hard drive and external enclosure seperately (this is usually cheaper, and is as simple as connecting a few cables and screws). The external hard drive is then plugged into your computer via USB cable, and shows up as a seperate hard drive. |
