Why am i told that MAC's are better than PC's?

i am thinking bout buying a laptop but i dont know what to get i have heard nothin but bad bout vista for windows but i havent heard anything bad bout MAC so can anyone tell me the difference

Because they are so much better.
Do people who drive BMWs care that many other people drive Chevettes or Pintos?

A local millionaire, Gary Kos, dumped his windows machines and went all Macs for everything. When questioned about "why" he said "my macs do everything windows did AND more and much better".

Macs work all the time every time. Every day. They just work. They do things for the user, instead of for the computer.

You get 70% more done on a mac because you do not have to "unfuc*" the mac six times, or more, a day.

We have 2 macs and 5 windows machines, ranging from winMe up to XP.

We sent back 2 vista machines because they NEVER worked, boot up then 3 minutes later locked up.

We use the macs to troubleshoot the windows machines. No one puts up with a car that acts like windows. Who would buy a car that works for one block and dies? I guess billions in marketing really does work.

Remember China and other countries were so fed up with windows they switched to LINUX.

Because they are!!!

because they have less virus written for them (mac)...but they have less software options

vista is not bad but microsoft just have to get rid of all the bugs, i suggest using xp for now

The main reason is that there are only a handful of viruses for Mac. 98% (sic) of all viruses affect Windows PCs

Then there's the fact that Macs can have the same performance as PCs, but are about half the size

Because the Mac Faithful are hardcore loyalists. The main thing to consider is : Are you a Game Player. Because for every 200-500 games that are released on the PC maybe 4 or 5 are released on the mac. And the same for other software. So if you don't play games and don't need alot of software the Mac is fine. But if you like alot of software choices. The PC is they way to go. Just go to any store and look at their software section like Best Buy. Many rows for PC and a couple or one for Macs.

well it's pretty simple really. since the world mostly uses Windows pcs, the hackers really don't mess with Mac's since it wouldn't give them the same effect. that's the good news. the bad news is that most of the programs written are mostly for Windows. so if you like certain programs I'd make sure that they were compatable with a Mac before i bought one. Besides if you've been on Windows most of your life, Mac's are alittle different to get used to

people dont know what they're writing about. there are NO viruses for the Mac. not one. not a "handful".

To get you to buy one!
Also the Mac is not hacked as much as the PC,especially those that have Microsoft platforms.
You need to compare them to see which one you prefer.

A... is incorrect. there are a number of mac viruses

If it was me, and I didn't ant a machine for games, then a mac is a better prospect. with a mac you don't have to choose between Leopard and Vista. You can run both on it, and XP for that matter.

If i wasn't such a hard core gamer, I would have a Mac. all the good games are written for PC.
