How do I set the laptop's speaker to work?

My husband produces music so he disabled the laptop's speakers and I don't know how to put them to work.Thanks for your help!!

You might want to try and turn up the volume, if it says that there is no device, the best advice sI can give you is to go Microsoft website of the computer manufactuters website and download the sound drive.

It may just be on mute, go into the sound properties tab in control panel and check the settings there
