Why doesn't my notebook screen turn on when I take it out of standby? |
I have a dell notebook with xp. When I take it out of standby by opening up the notebook or moving the mouse, the screen does not turn on. It stays dark just as it was in standby, but the system acknowleges that it has been turned on. Also, before it goes to the screensaver, the screen starts to fade or it turns grey. Could anyone tell me whats wrong with it or is it necessary to take it in to dell? Is this something I can fix in settings? Well when you turn screen saver one or something the screen tends to fade. hmmm...Did you try pressing the power button? |
