I can't get my phone to send images to my laptop by bluetooth? |
I have some pictures on their i really need to send and it doesn't have e-mail or a cable to connect to the laptop but they both have bluetooth my laptop recognised my phone right away but when i try to send something my phone says it can't find a blue tooth device but it has the little symbol on it so it obviously has found it ahh its so frustrating what can i do? I read the reviews for my phone and it says it does connect to a laptop and the phone has my laptop listed on it but whenever i try to send a picture it just says 'device not found' I'm not sure how your bluetooth works on your computer but on mine there is a bluetooth icon in the right hand bottom corner on your computer's taskbar. To get my phone to send a file to my laptop I first have to right-click the icon and click "recieve a file". I'm guessing its to stop files from coming in without your consent. make sure your laptop is showing itself on the network, they must both pair to each other, not just one way not all cell phones can connect via bluetooth to a laptop.. read the spec on the cellphone Yes, you said it, your laptop recognise phone, but phone did not recognise laptop. Check your phone and ensure that bluetooth connection is activated, especially if its Nokia. The problem is from your phone setting. If its Nokia, go to Tools, then Control Panel -> Connections -> Bluetooth -> then Activate Bluetooth. Good luck. Your laptop is the controlling device and as yoric says you have to pair your phone with it. Try opening the bluetooth on your laptop and select it to accept files from a device...it's a load of messing about i know, it took us ages to do it you should check out this site where you can get a sony vaio laptop for free |
