What do I do when...? |
My laptop becomes unresponsive while I run Google SketchUp 6? Please don't give me a link to the Google website because I've seen it and I don't really understand whether or not my laptop meets the requirements. The "unresponsiveness" may be it's downloading an update. Try just giving it some time to finish. If not, go to Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore. Pick the date before you FIRST installed it. It should be noted in the comment for that date. Your problem is, the setting are set in the registry. Subsequent installs won't change them. Running System Restore will remove them. Once clean, a fresh install may work. I did not look at the requirements for SketchUp, but you laptop sounds adequate. |
