My laptop is really messed up? |
okay so i went off my laptop and the next time i went on it everything had been deleted like all my windows programmes etc. doesn't look like it. I would suggest taking into the repair shop buy finding nemo it'll make you feel better if you lost everything and your programs, you may have something wrong with you harddrive. and if you cant play discs its either not reading them, or its broken all together. if the discs show up under my computer then i have no idea Use the restore points to get it back where it was. This could be a hardware problem, so, your only help would be your laptop brands technical support System restore or reformat your computer. go onto google and type trend micro its a free scan which will check your computer for any bugs or virus and delete them of which you should be back up and running as new. thats a tuff one, i was going to say save all ur stuff to discs, but if your comp doesn't even comrehend discs u prolly can't save it. Then u would have to reboot and reload everything off ur "start up" cd's. that happend to me, but i could still play discs. Sounds like you have a virus. This same thing happened to my friends PC. All of his stuff got deleted. There are no good free recovery programs you can download so I think you should format your computer and reinstall windows. well.....I would just buy a new one instead of stressing and having to do everything over again because it will probably do it more times after you fix it! That or you should call the company and ask them..... It might be as simple as someone playing a prank. Shutdown the the system and restart. Log on with your username. If you don't have a password-protected user account, you need one. It could be that someone has switched users and left your original user account unharmed.... I hope so. trying running system restore to a point before the problem. This website gives a program called save4pc. |
