Ok,I've been havin' a lot of problems with my ibook.I'm pretty sure the hdd is failing due to some problems I'll mention and other weird issue's I won't mention here.Lately,my computer will shut down by itself,I get frequent app. crashes and kernal panics.It shouldn't be any logic board failure due to the fact I just replaced it with a brand new one....it was a g3 700 dual usb(that burned out) but I switched the board out with a newer 900mhz board.I'm quite sure it's the hard drive..with all the kernal panics and crashes..oh yeah it locks up sometimes too..which before now..was a real rarity in os x.Also the hdd has periodically made weird noises,such as scraping etc.I can't help but worry about the logic board though due to problems in the past.So anyway what's with this ****?... and the fact that it will sometimes shutdown itself??....any Ideas?..HeLp!! ..also it resets the date and time after it shuts itself down. Take it to your nearest Apple Store. well sorry you must be lying because remember apple computers nnneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeever crash???? |
