Which is better GeForce 8600M GT SLI or GeForce 8800M gtx?

I wanna buy a new laptop and i like to play games so i wonder which video card is better.

Undoubtably the 8800M GTX.
SLI is an unreliable technology - performance gains are only appreciable when the game is fully optimized for SLI, which is quite rare.
Best case scenario (SLI fully optimized), 2x8600M GT would be about 70% as powerful as a single 8800M GTX.
Worst case scenario (game not optimized for SLI) - performance would probably only be 50% (or less) of the 8800M.
Go for the 8800M GTX if you can afford it.

I would say the 8800M GTX because even though the SLI is two cards, the 8800M GTX could produce about the same quality with less power.
