Apple Store?

one time i was a the apple store in White Plains, New York and i heard one of the store employees say that once the computer is a year old and there is a hardware issue, they just replace it. Is it true? becuase just recently, my macbook had two hardware issues. (internal speakers and hard drive) so i cant use it, If i bring it to the genius bar what will they do?

Personal experience. I have a 3 three old ibook that had a problem with the optical drive. I took it in and they replaced the drive.

I don't think they'll replace it...
First of all, make sure your warranty covers it. Even then, they'll probably fix the defective parts or replace them.
