Need a cheap computer?

I am going to a vocational school for Computer Information Systems, and I need computer that will host programs like macromedia flash, flash players, and html programming software and i need a laptop that is cheap because i can't afforda $1000 labtop, so does anyone know where i can get a cheap but good working? Also it should be able support music, videos and all that.

Buy a refurbished or a sued laptop. You have very few needs for a laptop but it is still better to go for one that is refurbished. Look for a laptop prices around $500-$600
They usually come with good video and sound cards. Get a computer technician to install better sound/video cards is you buy a cheaper laptop.
Your computer should have a good processor, if you look hard enough you can get a Pentium 4 for around $300-$400 but might have some bad parts. You can get a technician to install sound/video cards if your laptop needs another one, the whole thing might cost around 40-70$, including installation and the price of the video/sound cards.

you could try helpmymac.com..it is a bussiness in my neighboorhood, he is great guy and he is pretty cheap for mac laptops..he has new and old jsut ask him for his cheap few..thats where i got mine! ; -)
