a macbook, macbook pro, or if u dont have that kind of money than an hp or toshiba.

I got a Dell laptop pretty cheap with everything! My only and major complaint with Dell is their customer service is TERRIBLE!!! Somethnig went wrong with my laptop and I asked for a replacement even though it took FOREVER!! I got a better, newer verison and cuter laptop out of it so that was nice :)

Depends on your budget and Preferences:

If you want to spend about 拢400 ($800) Go for a Dell, or a toshiba, or something around those lines.

Anything more expensive, definately go for a mac. If you havent used one before, theyre really simple to use. Most people agree that macs are better than pc's.

A Macbook, which has a 13" Screen will cost about 拢699($1099) , or if you want a brilliant laptop, go for a macbook pro, which is about 拢1200, or $1999.

Just to add a point if you dont know, macs don't get viruses, so theres no worries in a mac :)

Make sure its got at least 160gbs a good processor extra Ram

It really depends what you want to do with it. For some things, MS-Windows is better. For others, Mac is better. If you are more specific, then you can get a better answer.
